Sunrises on the beach & Sunsets on the bay - it really doesn't get much better than the sandy shores of Long Beach Island.
Here we have compiled a list of resources to help get a kickstart on planning your summer vacation.
There are 6 municipalities of Long Beach Island, all having their own unique traits: Barnegat Light, Beach Haven, Harvey Cedars, Long Beach Township, Ship Bottom & Surf City.
Beach badges are required on all beaches, and you can find all of the locations to purchase them here.
THINGS TO DO:
Fantasy Island Amusement Park located between 7th & 8th St in Beach Haven is the best place for family fun on LBI featuring 18 amusement rides, boardwalk games, a newly updated arcade and great eateries.
LBI Surfing offers plenty of lessons for beginners and summer camps for those interested in catching waves. They also offer bike and beach rentals.
Long Beach Foundation of the Arts & Sciences mission statement is to promote the arts and sciences on LBI by enlightening, educations and stimulating thought and discussion about current trends by providing broad education and cultural programs for all ages.
Thundering Surf Water Park nestled in the heart of Beach Haven, featuring 8 whirling waterslides, the Lazy Crazy River interactive water play activities and Cowabunga Beach, designed especially for toddlers.
